My first destination wedding on the Savannah Riverboat Cruise!

Hey everyone, It’s Abi, I’m a wedding photographer located in Atlanta, GA. I want to take a step back and reminisce on my first wedding, which was a destination wedding! Me and my grandfather drove four hours to Savannah, GA. Such a long journey was worth it for the magical photos we took on the Savannah Riverboat Cruise. Our couple Sylvia and Joel were amazing for trusting us to document their wedding day. Here are some highlights from their special day!

Savannah, Georgia, with its historic architecture, moss-draped trees, and Southern charm, has long been a favorite among couples seeking a romantic backdrop for their special day, including Sylvia and Joel.

The unique setting of the riverboat cruise added an extra layer to the occasion, promising stunning photos against the backdrop of the sunset and Savannah's historic skyline. The bride didn’t want a first look, so while the groom was on the other side of the riverboat we decided to take gorgeous photos of her bouquet, ring, and a few photos with her family members.

After the ceremony, we stole the couple for a short 25-minute session to help capture the newlyweds’ excitement and love. The golden hour light bathed them in a warm glow, creating images that were as timeless as they were breathtaking.

After the separate session for photos we headed inside to start partying and celebrating the newlyweds!

If you’ve stayed to the end thank you so much for supporting me and my small business! Love my photography? Click below to book with me and let’s create unforgettable moments together! Remember, take care of yourself, and stay hydrated, I look forward to connecting with you all next time. :)
